Editorial Policy
This page explains the standards behind what we publish on Random Read.
Accuracy and sourcing
We aim to base articles on reliable sources such as peer-reviewed research, reputable publications, official records and well-regarded books, and to name the main ones in the text or in a further-reading list. We distinguish between what is established, what is debated and what is speculation.
Balance
On contested subjects we try to describe the main positions fairly and avoid presenting opinion as fact.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Send corrections through our contact page. We review every report and update the article when an error is confirmed.
Advertising and independence
Advertising helps fund Random Read. Ads are clearly labelled and advertisers have no influence over what we write. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will say so clearly in the article.
Images and tools
Illustrations may be original, AI-assisted or from public-domain or licensed sources. We take responsibility for everything we publish, however it is produced.
Comments
We welcome respectful discussion. Comments that are abusive, off-topic or spam may be removed.
